Women Orthopaedist Global Outreach

I was hired by Health Communicators, Inc. for the Women Orthopaedist Global Outreach (WOGO) project, a group of female orthopaedists to:

• Research statistics and facts about human rights and the plight of Guatemalan woman working in rural areas
• Develop a write up about WOGO’s successful 2010 medical trip to Nepal
• Develop a preliminary layout and content for a new 2011 fact sheet, the fact sheet was used in pitch meeting to potential funders and fellow physicians

The purpose of the project was to develop a communications vehicle to provide awareness about global, life-transforming journeys to Third World countries as part of WOGO’s mission to transform lives in under-served communities through joint reconstructive surgery.
