As a member of Daddy’s Promise Foundation’s management team, I work
with a smart group of media, marketing and non-profit executives
to develop and sustain an initiative designed to focus the attention
of the African American community on the positive relationship between
fathers and daughters. The organizing principle of Daddy’s Promise
Foundation is centered around the belief that it is critical now
more than ever to engage fathers & daughters, and African American
families to:
- Nurture healthy, positive familial relationships
- Hold African American fathers accountable for the well-being
of the black family
- Teach African American daughters of all ages fundamental life,
health and wealth-building skills
- Create an on-going call-to-action that mobilizes entire communities
I serve as a marketing and fundraising strategist for the organization
in addition to securing corporate partnerships, managing client/sponsorship
relations, developing press and marketing materials and pitching
Daddy’s Promise Foundation to the media. Daddy’s Promise Foundation
continues to host successful events around the country. Our programs
and events have garnered more than 100 million media impressions
to date and continue to impact a generation of daughters and their
daddies.
